Entrepreneurship trait 3 : observant

OBSERVANT


Among the characteristics of entrepreneurs who are in business is as an observer. Entrepreneurs act as observers whether within or outside the organization. Entrepreneurs who conduct observations in the organization can know the level of performance of the management staff and workers on the ground. This, entrepreneurs can implement further measures to ensure the smooth running of its business organization.
Entrepreneurs also act as an observer outside the organization. It is, an entrepreneurial organization can identify the level of relations with external parties such as stakeholders. Organizational relationships with stakeholders such as suppliers, investors, financiers, consumers and so must be going well.
Moreover, entrepreneurs act as observers to see and take opportunities. This could increase the competitiveness of businesses. Opportunities are available to be used preferably by entrepreneurs to expand its business organization. In addition, the role of the entrepreneur as an observer may also increase the knowledge and skills they possess.                         
For example, Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal Abu Bakar was a prominent businessman. He began his career in government service. He then moved into the private sector. He was a man who held the position of managing director of Shah Alam Properties Sdn Bhd. At this stage, that highlights the characteristics of entrepreneurs at his disposal. Among the observers, strengthen skills, knowledge, experience and skills required to manage the organization.

Up to a certain level of confidence, he has started his own business. At first he formed the group of companies EMKAY. He as Executive Manager and practical active in supervising and directing the operations of the group by formulating the vision and goals at the same time pour knowledge to its staff. He managed to bring Ekland status as property management company that managed to develop areas which were previously relatively isolated and no attention to the elite area complete with information and communication technology infrastructure such as Damansara Perdana, Cyberjaya.
